This project will not only ensure access to clean drinking water and boost agriculture, but also contribute to environmental protection.
Our initiative promotes a sustainable solution to the water crisis in the municipality of Comondú, Baja California Sur. Through the construction of a desalination plant in Matancitas, we guarantee equitable access to potable water, revive the region’s agricultural and livestock vocation, and protect coastal ecosystems.
We aim to end the shortage of irrigation water that affects the production of staple foods and the economy of small-scale farmers in rural communities. Desertification has forced many families to migrate in search of better opportunities, fracturing the rich social and cultural fabric of the region.
A Commitment to the Future. the project will include an environmental education program to raise awareness about the importance of water conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources. This will foster a culture of environmental responsibility and ensure that future generations value and protect the environment.
Joining forces with environmental groups, universities, academics, and government institutions, we are working toward a water-secure and socially just future.
